Project Description
Vajrasattva Statue Details Description:
Vajrasattva Statue
The Vajrasattva statue typically depicts a male figure seated in meditation posture, holding a vajra (a ritual thunderbolt) in one hand and a bell in the other. The vajra symbolizes the indestructible and immutable nature of enlightenment, while the bell represents the wisdom that cuts through ignorance and delusion. Vajrasattva is often portrayed in white, symbolizing purity and the eradication of negative karma and defilements.
The statue serves as a visual representation of Vajrasattva and is used as an object of devotion and meditation in Buddhist practices. It is believed that by meditating on or praying to the Vajrasattva statue, one can purify negative karma, overcome obstacles, and attain spiritual purification.
